The Road of Remembrance Museum surrounds the Main Temple of the Russian Armed Forces. The gallery is 1,418 steps long.
The gallery tells the detailed story of each day of the Great Patriotic War, recreating the atmosphere of the events of 1941−1945 as authentically as possible. Here, you can experience the journey from the tragic events of the beginning of the war to the triumphant entry of the Soviet Army into Berlin.
The museum holds information on 36 million participants in the war. Everyone can find their relative who fought for their homeland. To implement such a large-scale project in such a short time was a challenge that we accepted with honour. Today, we are proud to say that the Road of Remembrance museum has been built and will serve as an eternal reminder of our country’s great and heroic heritage.
